The NVQ Level 3 Painting & Decorating assessment typically takes 6-8 weeks to complete. This includes 3-4 on-site visits and time for portfolio development.
No. All observations and discussions take place at your workplace during normal working hours. Our assessors will arrange visits while you're working on suitable projects to observe your skills.
You'll need to provide examples of your work, including photos of completed projects, specifications, client feedback, and documentation of advanced techniques. We'll help you identify suitable evidence during the assessment process.
Yes. Once you receive your NVQ Level 3 certificate, you can apply for your Gold CSCS card. You'll also need to pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test if you haven't done so within the last two years.
That's not a problem. While a Level 2 qualification is helpful, we can assess based on your practical experience. If you've been working in the trade for several years and can demonstrate advanced skills, you can still achieve the Level 3 qualification.
